Bee Well: Crafting Skincare with Honey & Beeswax

Honeybees are master craftswomen. They produce honey, royal jelly, beeswax, and propolis to nourish, shelter and provide disease protection for their colonies. Throughout the centuries, humankind has found great value in these hive products, too. Beeswax and honey are natural skincare heavyweights, contributing moisturizing, soothing, and antibacterial properties (and a delicious honey scent)!

In this workshop, we will cover bee biology basics, how beeswax and honey are made, how beekeepers process them and the fundamentals of creating your own herbal skincare products. Pulling in a variety of all-natural ingredients, we will also be crafting nourishing lip balms, herbal salves, and body scrubs. You will walk away with one of each!
